2026 Summit

The 2026 IESMA Summit was a success. Over 200 people registered and attended 38 sessions with 59 presenters. We were supported by 28 profit and nonprofit exhibitors. We conducted our first Legislative Day and had our annual membership meeting.

Theme: Building Resilient Communities

The Summit program will be organized around four key areas of focus:

• Developing Partnerships: Strengthening Interagency coordination, public-private collaboration, and cross-discipline teamwork.
• Developing Volunteers: Enhancing volunteer engagement, training, retention, and integration into emergency management operations.
• Developing Personal Resiliency: Promoting individual well-being, mental health, and leadership sustainability within high-stress professions.
• Incorporating Technology to Build Resilience: Highlighting tools, platforms, and innovations that improve situational awareness, communication, and operational efficiency.
